Independent volunteers supporting Ukrainians

We are a group of independent volunteers that met at the Ukrainian border when the war started. We’ve been helping Ukrainians for more than four months now. Recently the number of people leaving the country has gone down and our help is not needed that much at the border anymore. However, we still want to continue with humanitarian aid deliveries to Ukraine as the situation in the war zones is not getting much better.

We are really grateful to have Mayor of Ubľa Nadežda Sirkova’s full support by giving us space to temporarily store humanitarian aid and providing accommodation for some volunteers.

We would like to buy food, toiletries and a water tank lorry for the money we raise. If you have a short encouraging message for Ukrainians, or if you want your name to appear on the water tank, type it into the ‘words of support’ section in capital letters. We’ll try to put everything you capitalise on the tank as a little reward for your contribution.

As GoFundMe is not available in Slovakia yet, where we are going to make most of our purchases, the organizer of the fundraiser will be a very good friend of mine Marek Hromkovic who lives in Switzerland. We deliver humanitarian aid in our free time to Churches, convents, monasteries or the Red Cross all over Ukraine. We will take photos of every purchase and delivery and show it on my Facebook page
