Gabriel Rennison & family

On March 26, 2016 Carla and Jeff Rennison welcomed their baby boy into the world. Gabriel Kenneth Rennison was born a healthy 7lbs 12 oz and 20.5" long. Although he was a little early, Carla was 37 weeks and did not have any known complications. Gabriel was quickly found to have health issues that would require him to be placed in the NICU. Gabriel was intubated and had surfactant replacement into his lungs in order to help him breath adequately. In order for Gabriel to get the antibiotics and blood tests efficiently they have placed an umbilical vein catheter which does not allow him to be held. Carla and Jeff have been by Gabriel's side anxiously waiting to hold their baby and praying for him to gain strength quickly. Carla and Jeff live more than 40 miles away from the hospital and want to be as close as possible during Gabriel's care. They are on a waiting list to temporarily reside at the Ronald McDonald house but due to over 30 other babies ill in the NICU they may never get an open room. They are currently paying night by night at a local hotel nearby which is going to cost them nearly $1000 for only a week. Currently the length of Gabriel's stay is not clear. It is my hope that we can raise enough funds to cover their lodging expenses as well as raising some extra to cushion the many other expenses that this hospital stay will accrue. Jeff works really hard to provide for his family and is too proud to ask for any kind of help from others. Please help me provide the Rennison family with a little money to help ease their worries where we can. I know the family will be forever grateful!
