Today, my friends and I are doing a triathlon in support of Dementia UK and are looking to raise as much as we can for the cause. Dementia doesn’t just affect the person with the diagnosis. It affects everyone around them. And with one in two of us affected by Dementia in our lifetime, whether by caring for someone with the condition, or developing it ourselves, I think it is important that we support organisations such as Dementia UK, which seeks to provide free expert advice, support and understanding to help families care for their loved ones.
