Over the past year, my family has been hit with more medical challenges than we have ever imagined possible, starting with the long and difficult road of my brother's epilepsy. Watching his condition progressively worsen has been heartbreaking, with constant testing, appointments, and uncertainty becoming part of our everyday life.

My stepdad went through an expensive knee surgery that later resulted in dangerous blood clots, which are still being closely monitored. My mom has heart issues, including inflammation of the heart muscle that affects how her heart functions and often leaves her exhausted, sick, and needing frequent testing and medical care. Most recently, my other brother broke his toe and now needs surgery this month.

My parents are small business owners, who work diligently on managing their business, but with time away at appointments and medical treatments, the business takes a number of hits.

My girlfriend and I, as well as other family, are doing everything we can to help support my family, but the financial strain has become incredibly heavy. Medical bills have continued to pile up, savings have been drained, and it feels like there is never a chance to catch our breath. This fundraiser is meant to help lift even a small portion of that burden so my parents can focus on caring for their health and their family instead of worrying about how to keep up.
