As you know Cancer has struck our team on many dimensions. We have lost colleagues, people in our office are blighted by it and their friend and relatives suffer this heinous affliction.
On a regular basis, Mark Stafford has subjected himself to ridicule to raise money for charities and causes that fight this horrible disease. So I have a challenge for you as my friends, colleagues and peers. I hope you are up to it.
If we can raise the amounts quoted below, Mark is willing to ridicule himself in “our presence” (which maybe virtually for those far away) for the durations stated.
If we can raise:
--> $1000, Mark will go "kojak" for a day (but obviously it won't be just a day). For those of a younger age this means bald as a coot.
--> $1500, Mark will go "Mohican" for two days (gelled up and everything) and then kojak for a day.
-->$2000, Mark will go "pink Mohican" for a working week, and then kojak for another working week.
Additional challenge that IF we make $2000, that those organizing the effort will also dye or spray their hair pink for ONE DAY in celebration of our team effort. We will stand together in the fight against this horrible thing.
So are you up to the task? Can you come together to make this happen? Will you all read this and do nothing?
You may go outside BT, but I’d be happy to see BT people donate the most. Giving the game away… you may use social media, like LinkedIn and Facebook.
