Help Community Activist Arthur A. Turner

Arthur Turner is widely known as Mr. Community Activist. For over 25 years, Arthur has fought for the voiceless and those in need in Prince George's County, Maryland. Everything Arthur has done has been as a volunteer concerned about his community. Arthur has now fallen on hard times and needs your help.

About four months ago, Arthur was displaced because his house was condemned due to a fire. He is now living in an Extended Stay hotel until his home is repaired by the insurance company. About the same time, Arthur was diagnosed with cancer. Due to his illness and due to doctors orders, he has not been able to work and as a result has lost his job and health insurance.

Arthur is in the hospital right now undergoing tests and procedures to hopefully remove the cancer.

Arthur is a very proud man and would never want to let anyone know he is suffering. Many of his friends want to do all that we can to remove his stress as he tries to get healed and recover.
