My beloved son Joshua Erickson was killed in Michigan on July 5th, he had just turned 21 nine days before. I am completely devastated; he's been away from home for a long while so I was already missing him and grieving that I have not seen him. Please someone help me get him home and buried; I really need to see his face one last time.
We are hoping to raise $1650 for the Michigan funeral home to prepare and transport my son's body as well as to obtain the death certificate and other permits required to get him out of Michigan.
We are also praying we will raise $2850 for the local funeral home whom will receive him from transport, clean him up and provide a one-day plan for either burial or cremation.
For burial I would need to buy a plot at the cemetery which is $3800; making the complete total $8300. If I can't raise those funds cremation is the other alternative which would be included in the $2850 above since the casket would only be rented for a few short hours before cremation.
