Surgery Needed For Jessy Gervais
A few years ago, Jessy had a relatively routine surgery that went very wrong. During this surgery, there was a very serious complication that resulted in several corrective surgeries to follow. Each surgery put her at a higher risk of health concerns and a lower rate of success of the surgery. She now has to have yet another surgery to correct this very complicated double hernia. She has been in and out of hospitals and met with several different doctors, non of which were capable of handling this very serious condition and complicated surgery. Meanwhile, Jessy's health has been compromised waiting to find a surgeon capable of this high risk surgery. Fortunately there is a doctor in NJ that developed the exact procedure that Jessy needs and can do the surgery. Because it is out of network with her insurance, she has to pay out of pocket for the entire procedure, follow up medical expenses, hotel expenses, and follow up visits to NJ. The total cost for this procedure will range between $30,000 and $40,000. The cost out of pocket is too large for us as a family to manage on our own. We are all helping in anyway we can, but we need more help!
