David G. Berry of Moncks Corner, SC
Mr. Berry was the victim of a very unfortunate event that took place the morning of Sept. 14th, 2015
He was attempting to create a burn pile in his yard and I guess with the low humidity and the amount of time it took him to actually "light" the pile, the gasoline had the perfect amount of time and environment to cause a massive explosion! He, unfortunately, was oblivious to the horrific circumstance he was about to endure. David was ignited, along with the pile that went up in smoke, Burning more than half of his body! In shock, he then attempted to drive himself to the ER. He was quickly assessed and then medevaced to the critical care burn center in Augusta, GA.
One thing you must know about David Berry...he is one of the most genuine and caring people you will EVER meet! He has dedicated his life to helping others. He is a true giver and a healer.
Our relationship, at Sweetgrass Chiropractic, with David Berry...He is our Massage Therapist in the Moncks Corner office, but more than that, he is our family & dear friend. He has touched so many peoples lives in such a positive way and now, there is a chance he will never work again.
He is just beginning a very long, traumatic journey and we want to be able to help him get the care he needs, as well as, help him with the weight of financial burden (bills, mortgage, etc)
Please keep David & family in your thoughts and prayers.
