 On Tuesday, our brother Bryson fell roughly 45 feet (around four stories) from the top of a palm tree during work tree trimming.

 The fact of him being alive is a miracle.
</div>

<div>
 Bryson suffered more than 25 broken bones. All injuries were sustained on the right side of his body. This includes an open (through the skin) fracture of his femur, a shattered and open elbow fracture, a broken ankle, pelvis, wrist, nose, and forehead.
</div>

</div>
<div>
 He has already undergone three major emergency surgeries, with another still scheduled. This, nonetheless, involves many many months of hospitalization and rehabilitation.
</div>

 With a fall this severe, we know how differently this story could have ended. Yet by the grace of God, Bryson is still here. He has no paralysis, no traumatic brain injury beyond a concussion, full function of the entire left side of his body and most importantly, he is still completely Bryson. His loving heart, his personality, his humor, his spirit; our brother is still here with us.

 We are well aware of and endlessly grateful for the gift we have received in getting more time with him.

 For anyone who knows Bryson, you know just how special he is.

 Born and raised in Ocean Beach, Bryson has always been fearless. He has spent his life surfing, skating, snowboarding, wrestling, playing baseball, body surfing, shooting pool, and chasing just about anything that involves a little adrenaline. He is one of the most courageous people we know and has always lived a truly vivacious life.

 But underneath that fearless exterior is the sweetest and most thoughtful heart.

 Bryson is the person who thinks about everyone else before himself. He will go out of his way to help someone without a second thought. He is loyal, hardworking, generous, loving, and the kind of brother, friend, and person who always has you in mind. He has touched so many lives with this spirit alone.

 Again in knowing him, you know that he would never ask for this kind of help himself.
</div>

 So as his sisters and brothers, we are asking for him.
</div>

 The blessing is that Bryson survived. Now comes the long road of putting his body and life back together.
</div>

 He is facing a long recovery of unknown duration. The repercussions of which are lifelong. In the meantime, there will be extensive rehabilitation, physical therapy, continued care, time unable to work, all necessitating boundless resources at home to make a suitable environment for healing.

 We are asking our family, friends, community, and anyone whose life has been touched by Bryson to rally around him now. This road is a long one and he is going to need all the care he can get, despite his unmatched strength (of body and spirit).

 Funds raised will go directly towards medical, rehabilitation, and living expenses; all of that which comes with getting someone back on their feet after an accident of this magnitude. But most importantly this support will give our brother the ability to focus on the most important thing right now, healing.
