Bryan’s fight against Leukemia

Donation protected
Bryan L. Wallace Jr is an 8 year old smart, attentive, energetic little boy that enjoys drawing, working with his dad, and making everyone around him laugh. He’s well known for how well he’s able to drive the zero turn while cutting grass at a young age. He also enjoys being outside playing with his siblings and the other kids that lives in the neighborhood.

He got a swollen lymph nodes under his chin, and then they started appearing in his arm pits and in his groin area as well. He was having blurred vision, a headache, and was running a fever, so I took him to the Emergency Room in Columbus, GA where he was immediately transported to The Egleston Children’s Hospital by ambulance on Saturday August 25, 2018. We got there and they did a CATScan, tons of blood work, a MRI, EKG, and diagnosed him with T Cell Leukemia. His White Blood Cells Count was over 50,000 when they should have been between 5-10,000 for his age. He had surgery so they could get bone marrow, a spinal tap to get fluid from around his spine and a port was installed in his chest, so he could start Chemotherapy right after surgery. He’s had 3 rounds of Chemotherapy and had his second surgery the morning of Tuesday September 4, 2018.
His blood sugar reached a high of 426, so he had to get insulin shots to get it lowered fast.
He was in a lot of pain, having nausea and a loss of appetite, but he’s a fighter, so is trying to tolerate the pain the best he can.

We still do not have a definite day as to when we’re able to go home. He has a care plan in place that is intensed for the first 6-9 Months, and then continued treatment for the next 3 years. We’re trying to keep him comfortable and entertained as much as possibly, and he’s enjoyed everyone that stopped by to visit him so far.

Bryan parents are Marctavious and LaTonya and he has 5 other siblings. Jada is 10, Brayden is 7, Layla is 5, Miracle is 3, and Marcta Jr will be 2 on October 29.
I had to leave two different jobs, and my husband with our other 5 kids to be by Bryan’s bedside every step of the way. We live 2  hours from the hospital, so my husband has to drive back and forth trying to make sure our other kids get to school, work as much as he can before it’s time to get them, make sure they have dinner, get in bed, and still try to be to the hospital as well.
The hospital does not feed the parents, so I have been buying all of my food since we got here, my husband has to have gas money to get to and from the hospital, and has to buy him and the kids food whenever they visit.

We are asking for donations so we can continue to be by Bryan’s bedside, until he gets well, and still maintain our house back home, so any amount will be greatly appreciated.
The money will be used for Bryan’s medical needs that his insurance does not cover, food, gas, and lodging in Atlanta whenever the kids visit on the weekends, etc.
Thanks in advance for your prayers, your donations, and please don’t forget to take a couple of minutes to share.
