Bryan Petrosino's Medical Fund

This story is from Bryan's wife Sara:

It was a mid-Sunday afternoon as I'm getting ready to shower and get ready for our family evening with Bryan and our two-year-old son Jéovanni when I suddenly feel a bad gut feeling. People always mention these but you don't know they're real until their yours. Bryan, of course, came to mind and my instinct is to pick up the phone and reach out to him. As I pick up my telephone it starts ringing, it's Bryan. When I answer an EMT greets me and tells me that Bryan had been in a bad motorcycle accident and that I was to rush to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. He kept instructing me on what to do but I couldn't process a word, my reaction was to throw up the lunch that I had barely started to digest, grab my shoes and just rush.

On the way, I cried and I cried because all I could think is what was going to be of me and my two-year-old son without him, without our rock, his dad, my love, our backbone. During long hours awaiting from The emergency room to the Intensive care unit where he spent two days I just prayed and I cried mostly because of feeling guilty. Just a month ago, we canceled our medical insurance provided by my job because it was costing us a small fortune a month and we just couldn't afford it anymore. Who knew right!

Well turns out Bryan lost half of his spleen and was internally bleeding which was stopped through surgery. He also has a partially collapsed lung so he is having difficulty breathing and is using a spirometer and he's on oxygen support. His left shoulder blade is fully broken and two of his discs are chipped on his neck which means arm sling and neck brace for a minimum of six weeks. He is still in the hospital and I am unsure of how long we will be here and living on one income not to mention his motorcycle is also totaled.

Therefore anything raised will go towards Bryans medical bills, which were swimming in, hospital expenses and future outstanding balances because like I mentioned we are currently zero percent covered. Through this whole process, I would still like to thank our families that have stood by us Day and night. Our friends who have proved once again why we have them in our lives.

The Made Man team, who I am speechless for, your endless support is truly strengthening.  To everyone who has taken the time to reach out to me, I am overwhelmed with the love and prayers sent our way. From Bryan, Jéovanni and myself a very special thank you to all!
