<div>Hi, my name is Cynthia and I’m raising funds for my 12-yr-old cat Brutus’ veterinary care. He had surgery for mast cell tumors in 2021, and the cancer has returned. Today he had extensive diagnostics to find out where the cancer is located, and he will need tumor removal within 30 days that may include removing his spleen and possibly chemotherapy. Today’s diagnostics alone were $3,600. I’m an animal welfare professional, and I just don’t have available the kind of money this is going to cost.

And I see, all too often, animals surrendered to our shelter because families cannot afford veterinary care. <strong>It’s a national crisis, this lack of access to veterinary care.</strong> It tears families apart. So this issue is bigger than just me. If this fundraiser sheds some light on that, it will be worth it.
