Bruces Stem Cell for Stroke
Donation protected
April 15th Update: We are very excited that Bruce had his treatment and we are seeing small improvements already. We are still taking donations to help with his HBOT therapy. The oxygen therapy on top of the Stem Cell will help his recovery even more. Please follow this link to learn more : Stroke & Hyperbarics
Since the treatments are very expensive, we have decided to purchase a chamber for at home use, these are called mHBOT. (Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Ther...apy). These units are FDA approved and people have seen excellent results adding the mild oxygen therapy along with the stem cell treatment.
Since having his treatment 3 weeks ago, Bruce no longer has headaches, no more stomach nausea and his sinus issues have cleared up. He is also getting stronger in his left arm. Prior to treatment, Bruce was taking pain reliever for severe headaches every day and now he is pain free!!!
I want to thank my Mom for helping Bruce by lending us the extra money we needed for his treatment. I want to also thank everyone who made a donation to help Bruce feel better, We couldn't have done it without you!!!!
Bruce's Story: My husband Bruce had a stroke two years ago following a carotid artery surgery. I believe this was the fault of his after surgery care in the hospital and not from the surgery itself. He has not totally recovered and now we are looking for other options for his total recovery. Bruce still has problems with his eyesight and every day tasks that are easy for you and I. Recently I found a clinic that offers stem cell therapy for stroke patients. This Clinic utilizes stem cells from a patients own fat tissue and are NOT embryonic stem cells. The type of stem cells that this treatment center utilizes are called adipose derived stem cells (Adult Stem Cells) and they have the ability to differentiate into a broad variety of cells types. These cells are able to grow into a host of other cells and can help repair damage throughout the body. This includes growing and healing brain cells, nerve cells, and other structures of the brain that may be damaged from a stroke. Stem cell therapy is known to help stroke patients eyesight and this would help Bruce tremendously in itself. Bruce is in the best time frame after his stroke for this type of therapy so we are hoping to have the procedure done by the end of this year. Stem cell therapy is not yet covered through insurance and now that we are on a limited income, we are looking for donations to help cover the procedure. Please share Bruce's story and help him achieve his goal for a full recovery. Please take the time to visit the Treatment Center.
