Bruce Fleming was a delightful, energetic, happy toddler. His family was looking forward to celebrating his third birthday this weekend. However, because of a tragic accident, his devastated parents will be planning a funeral for their baby instead. Early on the morning of October 31st, Bruce wandered away from his grandparent's home near Shelby, NC and was struck and killed by a car.
Bruce's parents, David and Chelsea, adored and doted on Bruce. They delighted in taking him on outings to the fair, and to parades, and playing with him outdoors. They worked hard at multiple jobs to support and provide for their young family. The parents and family are utterly devastated and heartbroken over the loss of this beloved child.
Unfortunately, paying for Bruce's final expenses will be a hardship for his grieving parents, and so friends of the family have set up this page to help support them during this time. We are asking for any help with covering the final expenses to relieve some of the burden on them.
We also ask for your thoughts and prayers - not only for the family, but for the kind soul who stopped to help Bruce, and for the driver of the vehicle as well as the first responders who were present at the scene.
