UPDATE: Penny went to be with the Lord on May 2nd. She fought an extremely hard battle against her cancer. She will be missed dearly.

On Monday, June 9th, our lives changed forever. My mom, Penny, was experiencing trouble finding words when speaking. She went to the ER where they found a mass in her brain. Surgery was set for Wednesday, June 11th, to remove the tumor. Unfortunately, things did not turn out as we had hoped. Instead of the cancer coming in from another location, this one started in her brain. She was diagnosed with a Primary high-grade glioma. She is home recovering now but will meet with oncology soon to start her treatment of 30 rounds of chemo and radiation. My mom is such a fighter, she’s the strongest woman we know. We love her so much and want her to focus on being here with family and not worrying about the bills. So we created this GoFundMe if you find it in your heart to financially help her and my dad out! Please say an extra prayer for her each night as well!
