Brother Eugene dead for 148 days!!

AsSalaamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

It saddens us to inform the communities that our Brother Eugene Williams passed away on Friday July 14, 2017.

It has been 148 since his death!!

إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
Inna Lillaahee wa inna ilayhee Raji'oon
To Allah we belong, and to Him we will all return.

Br. Eugene Williams was 68 years old when he passed away and died due to cancer.

Once The Janazah Project found out about this case, we jumped to the opportunity to not only facilitate Br. Eugene's rights over us as a community, but we jumped on the opportunity to remove this huge sin off the entire community, by the Permission of Allah سبحانه وتعالى.

The NYC Medical Examiner's office informed us of the following:
Mr. Eugene Williams came to our facility in July, with no religion included in his paperwork. One of my colleagues called his friend and healthcare proxy at that time and a couple of weeks ago as well. Today he called back and has informed us that the decedent was Muslim.

Alhamdulillah- All Praise and Perfection is due to Allah and Allah alone. Allah سبحانه وتعالى has used TJP for His Sake and then the Sake of one of His servants, to save him from being buried in a mass plot at Potter's Field or even cremated (considering his decomposition) and we will now pick him up, wash and shroud him according to the teachings of RasoolAllah صلى الله عليه وسلم, pray his Janazah prayer and bury him with the Muslims.
Also, he passed on Friday (Jumu'ah) and we pray that this be a sign of Allah's blessings upon him and protects him from the punishments of the grave.

We ask that you all step forth in helping fulfill this Fard Kifayyah (Communal Obligation).

Allah سبحانه وتعالى will surely come to your help and the help of your loved ones when you do the same for his slaves.

The funds will go towards his Janazah, Burial and necessary burial documents.

Any excess funds will go towards the Project for future needy cases like this.

May Allah سبحانه و تعالى help you more than how you help your brothers and sisters, ameen.
