Brother detained by ICE- seeking assistance

Donation protected
In late February of 2020, my brother Luis Juarez was ripped away from our home by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. The day he was taken started off like a regular day but we knew something was terribly wrong when a government marked SUV that had been parked down the street approached my parents home. It was extremely heartbreaking watching these officers handcuff and shackle my brother right before our eyes, with no hesitation or sympathy. My entire family was devastated by the thought of not knowing where they were taking him, when we’d see him again, or if we would ever have him back home with us. My brother was not only ripped away from his family but from his kids and the life he had been rebuilding.

As the oldest of our 6 siblings, Luis has always been our family's protector. When he was around, we were always laughing and he always made sure we had everything we needed. Anyone who knows him knows he always had a sly comeback or something funny to say. Our brother is also a father to three beautiful children who love and miss him like crazy. My brother was first taken into ICE custody in February of 2018. In August of that same year, an immigration judge ordered his deportation which was later overturned in the following January of 2019. Once he was finally released, our brother got back on his feet and worked everyday to rebuild a life for him and his children. He was able to find stable employment and immediately stepped back into his role as a big brother, son, father and friend. We thought he was home for good. Only to be devastated when he was taken from us yet again. Not only is this detention putting his whole life on pause but this detention is keeping him from supporting and watching his kids grow.

All we ask is for some support in bringing our brother home. If you are willing or able to donate to his case anything is greatly appreciated. All donations will go towards court costs and other expenses related to his detention and release and to his children. If you would like more information regarding his case please see the article attached below.
