Brooks Forester Fundraiser

Hello, we are CrossFit 11:24 and we have had the honor of having Brook's dad, Doug, as a member for a little over a year now. Doug has always been a shining face and a positive light to everyone in class, so when we discovered a bit about the Forester family and the struggles facing them, we knew we had to help! In 2018, Brooks was diagnosed with NF1, which simply means his body is prone to benign tumor growth. In March of 2022, Brooks had a spinal tumor removed, resulting in an exceptionally lengthy stay at CHOA throughout April. Brooks is now home and has begun radiation and extensive treatment. The Forester family also has 2 additional children and a baby on the way due in July! Because of the rigorous treatment schedule, Megan (mother) has had to quit her job.

So, what can WE do to help? Beyond the ever so necessary prayers, we have found it our duty to create a way to raise funds for this incredibly deserving family. Their world has simply been turned upside down and they are working through creating a new schedule for the entire family. They are learning how a new diet will work better for Brooks and his condition. They are preparing to welcome another wonderful child into this world. As you can imagine, there are so many moving parts and pieces, and any sort of donation to them would be greatly appreciated. The donation does not have to be large, ANY donation truly makes a difference.

In addition to monetary donations, prayers are VERY VERY needed and wished for. We are so grateful for anyone who has it on their heart to donate to this amazing family.
