Brooklyn's Brain Surgery

Our granddaughter is going to be undergoing surgery in August for her Chiari Malformation and I am trying to help my son and his wife raise money to help with the medical costs of this surgery. Below is a little history on our miracle girl.
Our daughter, Brooklyn Naomi-Rae Foresta was born at just 28 weeks gestation weighing 2lbs 9oz. From day one she has had to fight. She has been diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disability (high functioning autism), and Chiari Malformation. We went in for an MRI on Monday June 26th, 2017 where we got news that her Chiari had worsened which is why she gets a minimum of 3-4 headaches per week. Coughing, jumping and straining can trigger her to have a headache. Our only option to give her a better quality of life is to have her undergo a brain surgery to remove part of her skull to allow more room for her cerebellum which will also allow her CSF to flow again. As if this wasn't enough it was also discovered that she has pretty bad scoliosis and we need to be sent to a specialist to have her treated. Fortunately we caught it early enough that surgery isn't needed for her scoliosis, but bracing will most likely be done. It was also discovered that her heart is acting up and she complains about it and they heard a murmur and possible SVT's happening so we will be sent to a cardiologist to investigate further. Needless to say she has a lot going on in her little world and a scary surgery ahead which will leave her with modified activity for 4 months. She still smiles through it all, but is starting to not like doctors more and more.
