Brooklynn’s Heart Surgery

Brooklynn has an Anomalous Right Coronary Artery that is intermural. Her right coronary artery is coming out of the left side instead of the right, and instead of going over or behind, it’s going through. This is causing compression both from the inside and from the valve as it is coming out. This is the same anomaly that some of the young athletes that suddenly die on the football field have. 
She has been symptomatic for almost a year and the doctors at different clinics all agree she needs surgery immediately. They have scheduled her for Sept. 18th which is right around the corner. This is a blessing and a hardship as budgeting time was not allowed for this quick of a surgery. 
She has to go to the Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Colorado for the surgery and we have to stay there for a week and half to 2 weeks so that she can do her follow up appt the following week.
