<div>Hello everyone, I'm asking for help for a close friend of my daughter who is like a daughter to me. On Thursday April 24th when she went to her 16 year old daughters room to let her know dinner was ready, she found her unresponsive. She had a couple of seizures as dad did CPR on her, a couple more when the paramedics were here, and a few more on the way to the hospital. Once she was stabilized is when they ran scans and found out it was a brain bleed. They transferred her to El Paso children’s hospital where she was able to see a neurosurgeon. It appears to be an AVM an Arteriovenous malformation. At this point they need to wait for an angiogram that can’t be done until some swelling goes down. She needs physical and occupational therapy which is where we are going to hit bumps in the road. That hospital and doctors are out of network for their insurance and any treatments moving forward. We aren’t sure yet if she will be able to continue with this care team (which is excellent and we prefer) or if they will make them go to Albuquerque or Colorado. They have United Healthcare so they know already about those guys. Unfortunately at this time her mom Vanessa Escarsiga is not working and her dad Joseph is the sole financial supporter for the family. We are asking for donations to help with travel expenses and any medical expenses that may not be covered. If you can please donate any amount, it is greatly appreciated and, of course, your prayers.
