To the BCH Community and Supporters,
COVID-19 is undoubtedly impacting us all in profound ways, and it has been particularly devastating to the 321,000 NYC food and beverage workers, the majority of which are hourly workers.
On Monday, March 16th, mandated by the city and state, Brooklyn Cider House shut our doors to help fight the spread of COVID-19. Overnight, our team of over 40 employees was suddenly unemployed with no clear end in sight. Over the past 2 years, we have built a truly unique venue with a wonderful team of people who go out of their way to create memorable experiences for each BCH guest. Their passion, dedication, and warmth have made BCH what it is today. Because we do not have the means to financially support our staff during this shutdown, we are turning to our community to ask for help. If you are able lend your support in any way, the BCH family would very much appreciate it.
If BCH has become a part of your life, if you’ve made memories here, learned to appreciate cider here, or simply want to show some love in a serious time of need, you can help in 3 ways:
(1) Donate to the Brooklyn Cider House Family Fund. 100% of the funds will go directly to our hourly employees. Any donation is deeply appreciated! For all donations of $100 or more, you will receive 2 tickets to our reopening celebration.
