Brooke Dave' the newly crowned Miss Teen Hampton Roads United States will be participating in the Miss Virginia United States 2014 pageant.
The Miss Virginia United States 2014 pageant will be held April 4, 2014 in Richmond VA. The Miss United States Organization is one of the fastest growing pageants in the nation, offering women and girls an opportunity to excel. it is also partnered with the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life which give back to the community.
As a Senior at Bayside High School and Health Sciences Academy 2014 has been the year I have been awaiting. I have been a cultural performer/dancer in my community since the age of 7, performing in festivals like Taste Of India and India Fest every year. I have helped organize leadership workshops for both Middle School and High School levels. From just a mere staff member to Student Council Association (SCA) representative, to SCA outreach commissioner I have worked my way up the SCA ladder while also participating in clubs like Operation Smile. Within the past 4 years of my high school career I have contributed over 250 hours of community service and medical volunteer work in the Hampton Roads area. I also hold the title's of Miss India Hampton Roads 2012, Miss Bayside High School 2013, and Miss Teen Hampton Roads United States 2014.
Being a teenager I understand the dangers of drug abuse in the world especially with younger kids. I hope to extend and implement my platform by working with teens and raising awareness on the dangers of drugs, prescription drugs, and drug abuse.
