Broken Window Foundation

As a passionate chef and community activist, I feel an obligation to address major keys. We’re in a state of civil uprising, in a unique and sensitive situation. Importantly, I am trying to address at hand that ALL black/brown owned establishments are becoming collateral damage in the midst of our rightfully placed anger for the policing community. My primary focus would begin with black/brown owned restaurants that were already suffering from the economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and now along the looting/rioting. My plan right now is to provide mutual aid to all the restaurants on the list shown below. Following the feedback from the participating restaurants, I will proceed to fundraiser a specific goal to reflect the restaurants immediate needs. 100% of ALL proceeds goes to these restaurants to allow continuous employment for workers & repair any collateral damage. However, I won’t be stopping there; I continue my plan of tackling as many businesses suffering from the same turmoil while raising money to repair and employ. we came up with the name “Broken Window Foundation” flipping the whole broken window theory on a more positive light, and as far as an idea of a graphic we thought literally a broken window with black and brown hands shanking or holding hands in solidarity to come back stronger from the destruction the pandemic and the rioting and looting has caused them
