Pipes destroyed in our house

Well, here comes 2020 hard for us. Most of you know with social distancing it was illegal to practice massage therapy so I have been out of work and deemed unessential. Ive been working selling off things I own to get by. We had a minimal cost wedding, making most of the stuff ourselves and keeping the event covid small. We had a short honeymoon, shortened even more by a mandatory fire evacuation of our home where we spent a couple of weeks safe and out of the smoke.

Our home is standing and we are so greatful for that, thank you firefighters.

This morning a pipe burst and since our pipes are old everything from the street to the broken pipe need to be replaced and tore up. Including the sidewalk, pipe and  some pressure regulator thing. Turns out home owners insurance doesnt cover the cost of any of it since the said pipe that broke, broke right outside the house and not inside the house. 

The plumbers gave us total, and there is no real way around it. We cant have a water supply to the house otherwise.  And while I didnt shower much on the PCT. I have changed my ways a bit at home. Also very important for hand washing and flushing toilets :]

Honestly, anything helps right now. This whole situation is really rough and not sure how we can afford all of this. Thank you for anything you can pitch in.
