broken collarbone surgery

Hey all, I snapped my collarbone in a freak accident. I was riding my bike and slipped out on gravel I didn't see while leaving a barbeque on Saturday 8/17/18.
I don't have any insurance and don't make much as a bike messenger, certainly not enough to cover the $20k+ in charges Highland hospital quoted me (this is with the 1/2 price charity program applied! The full price is $41k.) I don't qualify for Medi-cal or Medicaid because I make too much, and CoveredCA enrollment isn't open until November. (I also do not qualify for any emergency enrollment options for CCA.)
I will be having surgery on Friday 8/31/18 and will be off work for at least 2 to 3 more weeks. Surgery is the only option as I have a very physical job and I need my arm to be back to 100% ASAP.
