Broke Veteran Millennial Stuck in CA!!!

What I Am Trying to Accomplish

I am throwing this out to the world to see if I can get a much needed boost to fixing my credit. I am a 35 year old disabled veteran living in Los Angeles CA. Currently unemployed and in school to get a HR degree. I am currently 25.5k in debt and need an additional 9.3k to fund my moving expenses/down payment on a rental. Texas or Arizona are my targets because the cost of living is way lower in those states. I can not move until my credit is better, and the longer I stay in CA, the more I will end up wasting money on crazy state taxes and utility bills. Fixing my credit score will also allow me to use the VA Home Loan someday in the future.

To Recap what this is for:
* Fix my Credit by paying of debts
* Fund my moving expenses and down payment for new rental
* Build a pathway for me to use my VA Home Loan
* Anything over the asking amount will go towards Medical expenses and building a home business. (Medical 15k and Business 7k-12k)

Why Leave CA?

My profile pic is one from when I was invited to Riot Games to work on one of their amazing Labs. My dream for the last 4 years was to work as an "HR Recruiter" for them and establish a "Veteran Hiring Program". The problem is, this company is located in Santa Monica, where the average rent hovers around $2600 a month! Granted, Riot Games is one of the only gaming companies that actually pays its employees very well. Even so, the city and state expenses are just to high for any new employee to bear over the long term.

I have given up on humoring the idea of working for a company that I love and will settle for just surviving at this point. There is no surviving here in CA for me and my wife (also unemployed) based off the salaries and unavailable jobs. I will be able to live off my VA disability in another state while I look for a job, so I am not to worried about that. $12 a hour in Arizona is like $20 a hour in Los Angeles, so the money does go further. The job opportunities are also a little better in other states and a little more veteran friendly.

Closing Thoughts

I do not really expect much from this, but I am pretty much out of ideas at this point. If you read through this "thank you" and if you donate "I love you". I would write more but I think this covers what I am trying to achieve and you probably do not want to hear sob stories because I know there are millions in CA in far worse shape than me. I just need a little boost and if you can help awesome :)
