Brittney & her family need our help

Those of us who know Brittney and Jon know how much they do for our community and for others in need, and we all know that Brittney is a strong lady. However, NOW our girl needs our help!
For people who don’t know my dear friend Brittney, you’re truly missing out. She owns Crimson Tattoo Co. in Old Town Auburn and is a very talented artist. Her husband Jon also works at the shop but with his military disability, Brittney is the sole provider for her family. On January 9th she had a minor scar revision surgery and was expecting a short recovery. She was feeling fantastic after the surgery and was feeling great. However, on Monday January 15th, early in the morning, something changed dramatically. She awoke at 4am with extreme abdominal pain and was unable to stand without passing out. A check in with the surgeon showed no signs of anything causing the pain and so she was sent home and told to rest. Even though she followed all her aftercare rules, she felt like something just wasn’t right and by Tuesday morning the pain was even worse. After communication with her surgeon, he sent her to the er to hopefully find the source. Jon rushed Brittney to Auburn Faith Hospital. By this time, the pain was so great she could not breathe and her body was shaking erratically with her fingers going numb. The ER sent her for a CT scan, which ruled out appendicitis, or other organ problems. But when they got her white blood count results back, everyone was baffled at the 26,000 count. Normal WBC is 4,000-10,000. They gave her pain medicine that only took the edge off and admitted her. That was Tuesday the 16th and she is still at the hospital with not many other answers except infection of some kind.
This is where WE come in. Brittney is considered self employed, therefore she’s without major insurance, and she is the sole provider for her and the kids, which means those bills are just stacking up! I have visited my girl in the hospital everyday now and I watch her cry as she has no idea how she is going to get through this financially. Not only does she have all the bills from the business, but she has all the bills for her home. She’s feeling overwhelmed by the whole situation, and this is the least I could do. She has been being treated poorly by select staff at the hospital and she is in tears over the pain and stress of it all. If you know her, she would never ask for help herself, but I’m afraid this is a hole that she might not be able to get her family out of. Please if you know her, Jon, and the kids, please share this link, even if you can not donate. They have done so much for our community and have an amazing business and I can’t stand to see them lose it. Besides, where would I get all my amazing tattoos if Crimson was no more?? If you have questions about her struggle, please feel free to message me on Facebook. Our Tattoo Girl NEEDS our HELP.
