Help my mom recover

On February 11th, my mom suffered a bad fall trying to put up drapes in our house. She fell from just a two-step stool, but experienced extreme trauma and had to undergo three surgeries to stop the bleeding in her brain. She just woke up on February 22nd, and will be in the ICU for a few more weeks until she is well enough to move to sub acute care. Thankfully the bleeding has stopped, but her recovery process will be long and expensive. Her neurological state is still in question, since we are unable to test her speech while she has a feeding tube and just recently had a tracheostomy. She is slowly regaining physical strength, and can respond to some commands, which is an improvement, but she still has a long way to go. She'll be needing 24/7 nursing care as well as physical and speech therapy for the next year or so. A health care facility that offers all of this will be about $500/day. Depending on her progress, this could add up to a good amount. My family and I are looking to get her the best care possible, so any thoughts, prayers and donations would be a huge help. 

For those of you that don't know, my mom is a pediatrician and loves to cook. She's worked 6-7 days a week for the past 30 years to support her family. She's always there to give advice, and take care of everyone around her. A couple times a week she would drive two hours to volunteer at a clinic for patients without health insurance. When she has time, she loves to bake–cookies, bread, muffins, you name it! We would be so grateful if she is able to recover enough to be able to do what she loves again.
