My friend Brittany slipped and fell while hiking on Mount Saint Helen's yesterday. She is a disable veteran with a Service Dog. Her dog Indy stayed by her side and comforted and protected her until she was rescued and life lined to a hospital. She has a broken hip, spine, & rib but does not require surgery. She cannot walk or drive currently, and will need to spend several weeks in a rehab center, where she can have her service dog but is required to pay for a dog walker. I am hoping to raise money to help Brittany pay for quality dog walker so Indy doesn't have to be locked in a cage at a shelter, and to assist with medical expenses not covered by her insurance. Please help.
