Brittany's Journey/stroke recovery
Donation protected
Thursday afternoon in early August, one of our beloved twin daughters, Brittany, 24, suffered a terrible stroke while at home alone. Unfortunately, no preventive measures were options by the time she was found and rushed to the local hospital.
She was life flighted to the Neuro Critical Care Unit at UT Medical Center in Knoxville and is currently there. While we understand she will have permanent paralysis on her left side, the full extent of the damage is still unknown.
Every day we see a little hope that our child is fighting her way back to some kind of responsiveness and consciousness. We don't know how long this healing process will take, nor to what extent the medical expenses will be. We do know that ANY financial help you can provide will be needed, and that prayers are also a powerful contribution.
Thank you from our entire family. - Randall, Kristin, Patrick, Nicholas, Ashley and Brittany.
