<div>For those of you who don't know me my name is Val Zawacki. I am a breast cancer survivor myself. I would like to introduce you all to my fundraising campaign for Brittany.

<div>My friend and coworker Brittany was diagnosed at 30 years old with DCIS (a form of breast cancer), in January of 2024 after finding a large mass during a self exam in December 2023.

<div>For those of you who know her, she works hard and does not give up, this is going to be a long tough battle and I am asking for everyone's support. Together, we have the power to make a positive impact on Brittany's breast cancer journey! <div>Due to the physicality of the job, there will be several restrictions that will prevent Brittany from coming back to work sooner than she’d like. This journey will require her to have 2 surgeries, both requiring an absence of at least 4-6 weeks.

<div>Brittany eagerly anticipates April 2nd – as the day she’ll undertake her first surgery, a double mastectomy with reconstruction. Her surgical team will biopsy 2-4 lymph nodes during the procedure to determine any spread of the disease, guiding further treatment decisions.
