Hello All!
My name is Brittanny Craig. I have started this campaign from the recommendations of my wonderful and supportive clients. I am a hairstylist and a hair color educator. I have been invited to audition for a prestigious postion, that my heart has been longing for, and my hands and feet have been working so hard for. I also have an opportunity to participate in a very coveted runway class and as a result of taking this class I would be able to participate in New York Fashion week. In just the past week I have recieved an invitation to attend a 3 day hands on class with the Global Artistic Director for all of Aveda hair color. I am overwhelmed! (in a good way)
What an opportunity and an amazing addition to my resume. My heart just skips a beat thinking about it!
The doors that will be opened for advancement in my career are numerous. All of these opportunities will put me in a place to be in direct contact with professionals in my industry, that are leading the way in their field. It will give me , not only hands on experience in areas that I am passionate about, but opportunity for me to grow and learn from the best! They will get my "foot in the door" to ensure a place of growth and advancement corperately and creatively. To possibly be able to be involved in development of future hair trends and techniques, as well asthe opportunity to delivering higher level education to those growing in this business. Those of you who know me, know how passionate I am about teaching. It makes my heart sing! To be able to mentor new artists as I have been mentored, is and will be a great honor.
All of the funds raised will go straight to cost of classes, travel expenses, and supplies needed to participate. The cost to do all of this will be about $10,000 - $12,000.
I will have to travel to Minneapolis on May 14 - May19. Back to Minneapolis June 4- 7.I will have to travel to either Los Angeles or New York in August for four days. And then to New York for a week in September.
My May trip is approaching quickly!
The opportunity that this will give me to advance in my career is HUGE! I cannot even put into words how excited, nervous and in awe of the doors that God has opened for me this year in my career. And right now the only thing that is holding me back is the $$$. I have the love and support of my husband, my 4 children, and my family to go on this endevour. Also the support of my beautiful clients that have seen the hard work that I have put in over the years. You all are so precious to me! You are all my cheerleaders!
To top it all off this year is my big 40! I know that this year is going to be a life changing year!
I am so humbled and thankful to my clients and friends who encouraged me to do this. I am so humbled and thankful to all of you, that are taking the time to read this and are willing and able to give.
