Bring Nina Home

After a long battle with a brain tumor, Nina Wood has run out of treatment options and has been given a very short time to spend with her family and friends. We are reaching out to all of our family and friends to help bring Nina home so she can enjoy her remaining time with her family in the comfort of her own home. Nina is a mother of three casey 17, jakob 16 and lilly 8. After receiving radiation treatment in December, Nina was admitted to the hospital for blood clots in her legs. While in the hospital she contracted H1N1. Nina's condition worsened over the next several months and her mobility declined rapidly. She is now unable to move 90 percent of her body. The tumor that had once shrunk from the radiation has now rapidly swollen and is responsible for her loss of mobility. The tumor will eventually shut down her lung function and brain. The money raised will be used to provide home health care that the insurance and hospice does not provide. She will need around the clock care for her to be able to come home.
