Bring Writer Nick Carr to BHS!

In this age of clicks, tweets, and likes, it can be hard to get kids excited about writing. We are Brunswick High English teachers and we are trying to establish an annual event where students can meet professional writers and connect to the world of ideas. Pulitzer Prize finalist and New York Times Best-selling author Nicholas Carr has agreed to be our first speaker in October 2018, but we need help with airfare, travel expenses, and a small stipend.  Please help us provide this fabulous opportunity for our students and our community!
