Bring Lacey Back To Oregon!

Donation protected

Hello Everyone,

My name is Jazmin Bird and I am proud to say I have the best sister in the universe!

Lacey Bird is a talented 18 year old high school senior living in Riverton, Utah. She works two jobs, attends school full-time, and is a creative genius.
We’re raising funds to help Lacey make her way back home to Oregon.

Lacey will be moving back to Oregon at the end of June. The transition process will take much longer while she secures all the necessities, but in order to have access to everything she needs, we are asking for your help.

Moving almost 800 miles away is a big endeavor and at her age, there is only so much Lacey can do to prepare for her journey. With that said, Lacey will be starting from scratch.
All money raised will be used to help her throughout the entire moving process. Financial assistance is needed to aid in travel expenses, application fees for the apartment, basic furniture, and any clothing she will need until she can properly settle in.
If you or anyone you know has bedroom funiture (night stand, matress, etc.) or other items to contribute, and are available for pickup locally, please message me privately. We are blessed to recieve any kind of donation!

Since our parents divorced in June 2011, our loving father and best friend, Shawn Bird became our sole caretaker. Our mother had abandoned us and vanished from the picture. The neverending strength of our dad kept us going. He could brighten even the darkest days.

On November 4th, 2011, our father passed suddenly from cardiac arrest. The world as we knew it shattered before our eyes that day. Our lives were forever changed. We were both forced to grow up so fast, but always supported each other through the struggle.

Lacey’s journey since our father’s passing has been long and difficult. She was placed in the foster care system for about a year as she pushed her way through school, not once taking time off. After much discussion, we decided it was best for Lacey to live with relatives who could provide a stable environment for her to complete her studies. She then embarked on a new journey in Utah, living with our aunt and uncle.

Lacey has only been home to visit a handful of times since she left for Utah in 2012. Now, after a year of waiting, I will be able to see my sister again.
On June 27th, she will finally be here to stay!

Lacey still has a long journey ahead of her, but with your help we can ease the burden. Any contribution is deeply valued and appreciated. All proceeds will go toward ensuring an easy transition and a safe journey back home.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story.

Let’s bring Lacey home!

With gratitude,
Jazmin Bird
