Kimi's Medical Expenses

This is Kimi! We adopted our rescue puppy 1 month ago. She is still being trained and has a lot of anxiety that we have been working with a trainer to make her more comfortable. Unfortunately, she got out of our apartment (our fault really! for not closing the gate properly) and ran into Golden Gate Park on Christmas night.
We were so lucky with the help of so many friendly and caring neighbors, who helped us looked for her across the entire Golden Gate Park and all her favorite places for 2 nights and 2 days. Eventually, she was found in the bushes by a good samaritan's dogs who sensed her anxiety and injuries and guided him there.

Kimi had been badly wounded from attacks by coyotes and also was hit by a car. She is a real trooper for enduring all this trauma, but is currently fighting for her life with her infections and broken leg at the NorCal Vet Hopsital in Daly City, CA.

She is in the best hands possible but her medical bills are rapidly rising and are almost at $15,000 and expected to rise given that her infections may be spreading. Since she only came to us recently, we havent had a chance to get insurance for her and all the costs have been out of pocket thus far. We are hoping to raise $5000 to help offset the costs. My wife (she is 8 months pregnant) and I would be forever grateful if there is any amount you can contribute to help Kimi come home safely to us.
