The Mileah Rose Martinez Fund

   We are starting this fundraiser in the hope that we can raise enough money to put Mileah to rest in a way that she deserves. With your gracious donations we intend to bring Mileah and her husband from Puerto Rico, which they had lived for only two weeks before she passed. Mileah and David have had numerous health issues throughout the years and in light of Mileah's last string of illnesses, the bills are high. Along with this challenge, our immediate family is spread across the U.S. Our mother and I are here in Oklahoma, our youger sister is in California, and the majority of our family resides in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Along with most of her friends. Mileah has touched the lives of so many that it only seems right to bring her back home to MD to celebrate her life with those who knew her best. Also to carry out her final wish,which is to have her ashes spread into the ocean. We would love to celebrate her life in a way that holds true to the open, caring, giving woman that she was. Surrounded and honored by the people whose lives she has enriched over the years. We are needing to raise funds for the cost of the plane tickets of our immediate family,to help with the costs of her service, and hopefully to help ease some of the burden of her medical bills for David. I couldn't imagine a more loving, devoted husband.  He cared for my sister through the worst and shared with her in the happiest moments of her life, which he helped to create for her. I can only imagine the pain that he has been through and is feeling now. Easing his load in any way would be a gift that we could award to him for taking care of her the way that he has. I am proud to call him my brother, until the day that I die. There is no doubt that he is deserving of this and we would like to give him any peace possible. Please help to put my sister to rest, help us to celebrate her life in a way that she deserves. We love you and thank you. Hope to see you soon.
