Bringing Home A Brother

Donation protected
This is really Bringing Home A Brother, the sequel.  We are the Humphreys Family!!! Jason and I have been blessed with two absolutely amazing bilogical children Jaxon and Ella. In 2015 we adopted our middle son Maxen from China and he has been an amazing blessing to our family. All of our children have hemophilia.  (Hemophilia is a rare bleeding disorder in which the blood doesn't clot normally. If you have hemophilia, you may bleed for a longer time than others after an injury. You also may bleed inside your body (internally), especially in your joints and muscles.)

When we stepped out in faith to adopt our son Maxen it was a journey like no other. The limit to which our faith in God was tested, and watching Him again and again provide a way to bring our son home was like nothing we have ever experienced. We did not have the funds set aside to adopt the first time but God provided just enough at just the right time for every step of the process. This adoption to bring home our other son is starting out very similar.

This little boy is one who's face we have seen since we first started the adoption of our son Maxen. What makes him stand out is he also has hemophilia like our other 3 children. We have seen other boys with hemophilia up for adoption come and go from the listings. They have found families and many are already home. In March we felt led to pray for this little boy, to pray fervently for his family to find him and bring him home. No one was coming forward...... Why...... He is our son! He has been waiting for us! We are stepping out in faith that God will again provide for our family as we listed to his calling to adopt.

Our son is living in an orphanage in China with hemophilia, but not receiving the needed medical care to treat his bleeding disorder. He just turned 10 years old. He has spent a decade without a family to care for him. A decade in an orphanage with no one to give him the love and attention every child deserves. A decade without medical care for a very serious and often life threatenig condition. I see the pain our other boys have with the effects from their hemophilia. We have seen first hand how detrimental a lack of treatment can be when be brought Maxen home from China. (We was so weak, anemic, and his joints so damaged he couldn't walk 10 feet) We are now working very hard to bring our other son home, home to his family, home to the medical care he needs.

We have begun the long process of paperwork and waiting, along with finding the funds to bring him home. This has again happened very quickly, and we are reaching out to our family and friends to help us bring Mason home!!! The cost is estimated around $38,000. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers! We know this will be a long journey, and we appreciate all your love and support. We have faith that God will make a way to bring Mason home.

Please help us bring our son home!!!!
