<div>This is Prescott Harter in the studio singing the second verse and chorus of our song entitled The Inner Sanctum Blues. I wrote the lyrics and Scott wrote the music. We tried to make my melody work but it wasn't a real good fit. I love the haunting, melancholy vibe that Prescott created. He's extremely talented and I feel fortunate to be working with him. This song is currently being pitched in Nashville and Prescott plans to cut a version of his own.

<div>Help Bring These Seven Songs to Life — A Songwriting Journey 15 Years in the Making
</div>
<div>“For those of you who remember, it all started with a poem called ‘Hats Off’ — one that Damien Goudreau helped me bring to life. He got me excited about songwriting. And with the encouragement of his grandmother Bobbi and the support of family and friends, I’ve been at it ever since.”

<div>️ <strong>1. How It Started</strong>
</div>
<div>Before I dive into what this campaign is all about, I want to share the story that helped bring it to life.
</div>
<div>My sister Mary and her husband Paul have always believed in my songwriting journey. But when they heard the song “Bent On Grieving You,” they went one step further — they offered to fund the entire demo recording themselves.
</div>
<div>That gesture gave me the momentum to finally build this campaign and take the next step toward sharing these songs with the world. Thanks to them, the demo for “Bent On Grieving You” is already in motion.
</div>
<div>If there’s a song that speaks to you personally, your support can help fund that specific track too.
</div>
<div>Thank you, Mary &amp; Paul — for turning grief into generosity, and for helping me turn songs into something even more powerful.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> 2. The Heart of This Campaign</strong>
</div>
<div>I’ve been writing songs for over 15 years — crafting stories that speak to grief, healing, justice, memory, and faith. With your help, I’m ready to take the next step: professionally demoing seven of my most meaningful songs and bringing them to life through visuals and outreach.
</div>
<div>These songs aren’t just lyrics and melodies — they’re lived moments. And they deserve to be heard.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> 3. How Your Support Helps</strong>

</li>
</ul>
<div>With your help, these songs will be pitch-ready for major artists — and emotionally available for the world.
</div>
<div><br />

</div>
<div>“Billy Simons is a diamond in the rough. His lyrics and melodies are heartfelt, honest and true. I am extremely grateful to have him as a songplugging client and, more to the point, to be able to pitch his wonderful songs to artists seeking material. Haven’t heard of Billy Simons? Don’t worry, you will!”
</div>
<div><em>— Chris Keaton, Song Plugger</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Billy Simons for a couple of years now, as a producer and a melodic songwriter. We have tracked 5 songs now and I have enjoyed each song even more than the last! No doubt, Billy will find songwriting success if he keeps after it. He has a natural talent as a lyricist with a style that is refreshingly his own. Creatively, he knows what he wants but without becoming rigid. I’m very much looking forward to continuing our production and songwriting work together… as well as potentially recording and releasing some of his songs myself as an artist. Starting with “The Inner Sanctum Blues”. I really dig the dark songwriting vibe on that song.”

<div><strong> 9. Final Words</strong>
</div>
<div>I’m launching this campaign to bring seven deeply personal songs to life — through professional demos, visual storytelling, and the support of an amazing Nashville team. Every song tells a story. I just need your help to share them.
</div>
<div>Thank you for reading. Thank you for listening. And thank you for believing in the power of a song.
