<div>Community involvement has been at the heart of the activities at Prestwick Tennis and Fitness since its inception over 20 years ago. We are a non-for-profit organisation operating at the heart of the local community offering tennis, pickleball, badminton and fitness activities which are accessible to the community at affordable prices.

<div>Prestwick Tennis and Fitness is lookingto construct covered Padel Tennis courts within the grounds of its indoor tennis centre which will be the first Padel facility in South Ayrshire. Planning permission is in place and we are currently in the process of raising sufficient funds to enable to project to go ahead.

<div>Padel tennis as an excellent fit to complement our comprehensive tennis offering, including our schools outreach and LD/Wheelchair classes.
</div>
<div>The provision of covered courts means that Padel tennis can be made available to the local community in any weather throughout the whole of the year.
</div>
<div>The demand for the sport in the local community is high and our Padel courts will be accessible to all ages and abilities.
</div>
<div>Padel tennis is the fastest growing sport globally and now has over 25 million players worldwide. The game is easier to learn than tennis and has an appeal to both new players and existing racket sports participants. It is a great sport to enjoy either in a competitive environment or if your main aim is to improve your fitness in a more sociable playing environment. Padel tennis will diversify local sporting options, encouraging healthier lifestyles.

<div>The cost of the construction of a single covered Padel tennis courts is £210,000 (including VAT) and currently have a funding gap of £95,000 which we require to fill if the project is to proceed.
