Bringing K Home

Our family had the privilege of hosting K over the holidays. K is a 15 year old orphan from the Ukraine and has been living in an orphanage since he was 10 years old. We have fallen in love with K and have asked him if we could pursue adopting him and bringing him into our family. He gave a resounding yes. Now we are staring down the barrel of an urgent timeline as he turns 16 in June and once that happens it becomes exponentially more difficult to bring him to the US. We are currently in the process of completing our homestudy and getting our basics together for this. There are a lot of costs that we urgently need to get together in a very rapid timeline and would love to have any support we can. A basic summary of the costs are: Homestudy: $2500 Agency fee: $17,500 Travel and Foreign Government expenses: $14,000 Total: $34,000 -$5000 from work adoption reimbursement! $29000 It is a lot and is a little daunting when looking at the numbers but we firmly believe God will provide. This has been a very inspiring journey so far and I'm certain that it is not done. We love you and all of the support you can give us.
