Bringing Hope, Sharing Love to the Children of Ghana
Donation protected
Hello loves!
I am honored to return to Ghana in June; last year was a life-changing experience because I impacted them, and they also impacted me!
Unfortunately, the homes that these children live in are being demolished, which means that the children are being displaced. This has created a lot of tension, stress, anxiety, and trauma for the children and their families because they are facing uncertainty about the days ahead. To make matters worse, their school is also being partially taken down. As a result, the children will be separated from their community, the aspects of their lives familiar to them, and their childhood.
This is an urgent call that I need to attend to because of the relationship that I formed with the children when I went last year, and also, I want to support and help in any way I can so they can transition smoothly into the new season of their lives. Practically, this looks like me throwing a graduation party for the graduates, a road trip with the younger children, providing supplies, and simply being there for them in this crisis.
I really do have a heart for these children because of their unconditional love and genuine hearts. My memory with them has been ingrained in my mind because I saw life from another perspective and the beauty in these children; however, I do not want my relationship with them to be a mere memory but something that is maintained.
That said, I am asking for your help so I can go on this mission trip from June 17th - 26th. Please give whatever you can so that I can support the children of Nyame Bekyere. You can share this GoFundMe with whoever would like to contribute. The cost of the trip is $3000, which includes the flight, accommodation, meals, and internal travel.
Although I am delighted to be a part of this, this is an urgent call for help since these children are in crisis and need as much support as possible.
I look forward to the days ahead as we embark on this journey together to help the children of Nyame Bekyere.
Thank you
