Bringing home Aidan's service dog

On January 20 2019, Aidan was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, at diagnosis he had a blood sugar level in the 730's. It has been over 2 years of dealing with this disease and Aidan still struggles to feel his highs and lows. Being so active and involved in many activities, we researched services animals to serve as an extra safety net. We chose Cares, INC. because they are a non-profit organization that uses inmates to train the animals, thus resulting in a smaller price tag but a longer wait.
Now our wait is up, the service dog is ready and Aidan and his mom Shannon will be traveling to Concordia, KS next month to train for a week. The gender and breed of the dog is a surprise and Aidan will not know until he gets there. We plan on sharing the process of training and teaching everyone more about service animals as well.
Cares, INC charges $5,000 for the dog, which is $20,000 cheaper than any other company that trains service dogs. We are also asking for help with travel expenses, hotel expenses, food, and supplies for getting started with the dog.
Thank you in advance and please share in our journey in bringing home Aidan's service dog.
