Help Me Bring My Dad Home!

TLDR: I know this time of year is tough for everyone, but even a share would help. Many of us share social networks and I know how large our family is. If you can share this post, or make a donation, it would be greatly appreciated! The gist of it is that my dad is down in Florida right now and suffered congestive heart failure while visiting my Uncle. He is in serious condition at the hospital and due to entering his Canadian Pension Plan, his previous coverage was canceled without his knowledge so now he is in the hospital without medical insurance. I contacted MedEvac Canada and they have provided me with the costs to bring him back to Canada and receive treatment here. My father recently suffered congestive heart failure while visiting my uncle down in Florida for their 65th Birthday. He is currently in the hospital in serious condition but does not have insurance. He always had extended coverage thru the company he worked for most of his life however they stopped coverage at 65 because he entered into his Canadian Pension Plan (CPP) and on a whim he over looked this timing.
He is very weak and in a great deal of pain, wheezing and having a lot of trouble breathing. His feet and ankles are swollen and he is not able to get shoes on even if he could stand. Right now we are very worried about how much the hospital will treat him before discharging him because he doesn’t have coverage.
The cost in the hospital down there is currently just over $5000 dollars American per day and is stacking up fast! I have called MedEvac Canada and confirmed with them they can have a medic fly down and make arrangements to pick my father up and set up ground transportation to the Airport. Fly him home and have ground transportation set up for when he lands here at home to a Canadian hospital.
The next step is to come up with (raise) the funds to get him home right away.
ANYthing you are able to contribute will be so helpful. I am currently trying all avenues to come up with the funds to pay the hospital bills.

$7500 for MedEvac Canada Service
$500 initial fee to make the arrangements
$2126 x 2 for American Airline tickets
