Hello everyone, my name is Andrea. I am Tyson's mom. He is 11 years old and has just recently been placed in a boys' home in Brunswick, Georgia. That is a good 5-hour ride for us one way. We are vigilantly working our case plan and doing everything that we can to bring Tyson home.
We are able to have weekly visitation with Tyson; however, it takes a good bit of money to make that trip, and that is something that I do not have right now. If anyone is able to donate anything at all, I would be more than grateful as we would all love to be able to keep our visits with him as consistent as possible. He is very emotional and asks to talk to us every day and he doesn't always get to, and he doesn't understand why he's not able to come home.
For those of you that don't know, Tyson is on the spectrum with several other special needs and lacks the cognitive skills to understand reality. Again, I ask if anyone is able to donate anything at all to help us be able to go see Tyson and spend the day with him, I pray that God blesses you 10 times over!
Unfortunately, there isn't anywhere to accommodate our family between Columbus and Brunswick, so we will be having to make the 10 hour round trip every week.
DUE TO SCORCHING HEAT TEMPERATURES, WE FEEL ITS BEST TO TRY AND RENT A CAR SINCE MY AC IS BROKEN AND WILL COST MORE THAN $1000 TO FIX.
SO PLEASE , IF YOU'RE ABLE, CONTINUE TO SHARE AND DONATE WHAT YOU CAN.
WE GREATLY APPRECIATE EVERYONE AND WHAT THEY'VE DONE, BUT WE NEED CONTINUOUS SUPPORT FOR NOW.
