2020 has been a difficult year for many But for foundation member Warren Rule it has been life changing…
For those that don’t know Warren ‘Waz’ he is an absolute inspiration and was amongst our first group of clients back in 2010 when Pushing Performance was first established. Since that time he has truly changed his life, and has continued his commitment to living a happier, healthier future. Waz is a piece of the furniture at Pushing Performance and a constant laugh amongst the trainers when we discuss his ability to bring banter to any group session.
In recent months Warren was diagnosed with a rare form of Acute Leukemia which automatically changed his life. Back in September he was faced with the reality that he would now undergo 9 months of treatment, 98 days of 2.5hour infusions and 245 hours of hospital treatment. The good news is that although the fight isn’t over Warren is now in remission and his positive attitude is a testament to his resilience. With positive signs to come he is slowly being cleared to re-gain his fitness and for that reason we want to help.
We would love your help to raise much needed funds which will go towards providing Warren with all necessary equipment to regain his fitness and strength at home. All proceeds above the cost of the equipment will be donated to the Leukemia Foundation. The good news is that the Pushing Performance staff are happy to ‘work’ for your money…. For every $10.00 donated the Pushing Performance staff will travel 1km using the Rower, Ski Trainer or Running on Thursday 10th December. Furthermore, Pushing Performance will match every dollar donated; if you put in $10 we will put in $10, up until our targeted amount.
