Bring smiles to children around the world.

Operation Smile is a charity close to my family's hearts. My sister and I born with Cleft Palates and secondary conditions as a result. Luckily, we were able to have them surgically corrected as babies, and so have been able to live full and happy lives.

Clefting occurs if the tissue that makes up the roof of the mouth does not join together completely during pregnancy. Children with clefting have problems with feeding, speaking, hearing and smiling.

Unfortunately, there are currently 5 million people living with Cleft conditions in counties without access to free healthcare.

Operation Smile provides access to safe, free, effective surgery and comprehensive cleft care, because every child deserves the chance to smile. They also build infrastructures to ensure treatment can continue when they are not there to help.

So here's the deal:

£15 provides the tools for a surgery

£50 provides transport for patients to their nearest hospital

£150 provides life-changing surgery for a child.

I would love to help 2 children for my 30th birthday, so I'm aiming for £430 for the tools, transport and surgery to make that happen.
