Bring Ryder home to Cordova

My name is John Neal. Recently I moved to Cordova Alaska so I could be with my family. I am employed full time. I found out shortly upon moving that we will have a new addition joining our home. I will be the father of a baby boy named Ryder, due on Christmas day. Ryder will be born down in California, where I was previously living, and over two thousand miles from where I now reside.

Unfortunately the baby’s mother isn’t in a position to provide care, and we are in agreement that I will be bringing Ryder home to raise. I have some money saved but I’m scared that it won’t be enough to get us home. This is an unexpected but welcoming surprise. The money raised will be going towards a plane ticket and new baby essentials. My family and I have already been working hard to secure the funding and resources necessary to provide for him in rural Alaska.  I'm very excited to give my son a chance to grow up in a great community where he will be with me, close to his grandmother and his uncle's family. I appreciate your consideration in my family’s time of need.
